Christian Youth Day 2007

On Saturday March 10 a bunch of junior high youth headed to Bethany College for Christian Youth Day.

The theme for the day was Reach Out! The verse came from Matthew 5:16 ~ "Let your light so shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in Heaven."

We all have a ton of fun! We started off singing some silly songs. We then broke off into teams to play a few get to know you games. We headed outside and took a big group picture! After that each team went somewhere on campus for the service projects. We helped clean-up Bethany by picking up trash, leaves and branches. By the end everyone was hungry so we went to get lunch. Yummy! Then it was time for the scavenger hunt! We ran all over the campus trying to answer the questions!! Finally we were ready to head inside for crafts and to help make the Lutheran World Relief Health Kits. After that it was time for closing worship. It was sad to say goodbye but we will be back next year!
