Mid-December Posting

Well this month has been so busy I have been slacking in my posting. I have also been slacking in my picture taking as well. I begining to think that I should hire someone to take pictures for me! Well here are a few updates on the things that have happened these past few weeks...

Jr. High Youth Group - we watched the Santa Clause 2 and made Christmas cookies for dessert. We talked about how much God loves us even though we sin. During Christmas God doesn't want to put coal in our stockings... he wants to fill them with love!

Christmas Program Practices - we have been practicing for the Christmas program very hard and hope you come to see it! Sunday Dec. 17 7PM in the Parish Hall.

Sunday School - the PreK-6th graders have had a lot of fun learning about Advent these past few weeks. It has helped us to understand more about some of the things we do in the church to prepare for baby Jesus.
The 7 & 8th graders made a peace wreath to show that Advent is about bringing peace, love and joy to the world. The wreath is hanging in the Narthex, be sure to tell them how wonderful it looks when you see them!

Bible Blitz - Last week we learned that angels protect us. They help us when we are in trouble and they even help us when we are not in trouble!
